It was so refreshing and educative yesterday 4th of March 2019 in Lokoja Kogi State at the National Sports Seminar put together by Success Tiyu Int’l , headed by resourceful and enterprising ex Footballer Abubarka Musa, Chairman of the Kogi State Chapter of the Nigeria Players Union, and assistant coach of Kogi United FC

The capacity filled hall comprising of participants and resource persons drawn from all sections of sports, including players of Kogi United FC and Confluence Queens FC, applauded the ” Project 774 – ORF initiative of the Nigeria Players Union NANPF, which is designed to create Jobs for more than 10,000 former players and other football stakeholders within the football industry through the deliberate and systematic creation of Community Ownership base football clubs, minimum one in each local government council areas of Nigeria, Own, Run and funded (ORF) by the Communities, following a brief presentation of the project by the general secretary of the players Union, Austin Popo at the Seminar

Four papers presented by the following resource persons which includes
Elder Daniel Oloko of the NRA who spoke on ” Preventing Sports Hooliganism and Ensuring Maximum Security at Match Venues”, Mr Nda Sule, DOS, Federal University in Kogi State, spoke on ” Grass Root Football Development in Nigeria, Problems and Prospects ” others are Mrs Olufunke Kajuini , ” Preventing Drugs Abuse/Doping in Sports ” , Mohammed Adebayo Amunu of NRA on the “New laws of the Game, and Finally, paper on ” Checkmating Match Fixing in Team Sports ” presented by Mr Shogo, were all very illuminating and educative

The Director of Sports (DOS) of Federal university in kogi state, Nda Sule who is also one of the resource persons and many other participants signified their interest to be listed as Volunteers of Project 774 – ORF and gave a firm commitment to introduce the Community base football initiative of the Union to the Traditional Ruler of Igala Kingdom in kogi state , in projecting the very core aspect of the project
